Jemima grew up in North London and has wanted to be a vet for as long as she can remember. After graduating from Cambridge in 2016 she worked in small animal practice in Essex before coming south of the river and joining The Neighbourhood Vet in 2018.
In 2020 she took a year out to work as a government vet, which took her onto farms and involved work on avian influenza, however she greatly missed the life of a small animal vet and the wonderful Neighbourhood Vet Team and re-joined us in 2022.
Jemima is interested in all aspects of veterinary work, especially ophthalmology and cardiology, and has a special place in her heart for rabbits and other small furries which she grew up with.
Outside of work Jemima enjoys swimming, the outdoors, eating great food and getting involved in an Am-Dram show if she gets the chance.
