Lewis

Lewis started working with animals in 2016 as a fostering volunteer for Battersea Dogs & Cats home. This led to him becoming a fully-fledged member of the team, carrying out several roles from a London Cat Foster Coordinator to a Theatre Veterinary Care Assistant. He began his Veterinary Nursing BSc Degree at Middlesex University in 2020 and came to The Neighbourhood Vet for his placement training.  He never left and has since graduated as an RVN and C-SQP (suitably qualified person to prescribe medication to companion animals) in 2023.

In his spare time, Lewis enjoys spending time with his senior rescue mastiff Ace who was a former stray. Lewis is passionate about animal rescue and fostering, having fostered over 50 animals from Battersea and The Neighbourhood Vet. In the future, Lewis hopes to train in canine physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, and would love to take his skills overseas to volunteer with dog rescue organisations.
