Nika

Nika joined The Neighbourhood Vet in the July 2022 when she moved to London from Ukraine.

She graduated from the Medical University in Ukraine, after which she was a surgical nurse in oral and maxillofacial surgery for 5 years.

Nika is crazy about cats - she had 5 cats in her family home Kyiv!  She loves to travel and has already visited 30 countries in her 30 years on the planet and hopes to see many more in the future.

Since joining The Neighbourhood Vet, Nika has found that she is surprised every day by the work she does. Her most cherished dream is to build a high-standard animal shelter and clinic in Ukraine so she can help more animals; her credo is "loving animals means being human"

In her spare time, she enjoys poetry, pottery and cooking.
