Leonie St Clair - Behaviour
Leonie St Clair BA(Hons) ADipCBM Behaviour

Leonie is a qualified, accredited canine behaviourist and an affiliate of The Canine Behaviour and Training Society, her governing body. She has generally lived with a dog, at least one cat, and once even a crow, and a long-term interest in all things animal culminated in her retraining as a canine behaviourist. Formerly a TV Producer, Leonie has always had a keen interest in what makes people tick and she enjoys applying that same curiosity to animal behaviour and the complexities of the human-animal bond.

Over the years she has worked as a volunteer in animal rescue and is a regular advisor at the canine showcase, Discover Dogs. She writes for specialist dog magazines and has shown her own dogs at championship level, including at Crufts. Currently, Leonie is the Foundation Instructor at the long-established South Eastern Dog Training Society, where she is also on hand to help guide members through the various levels of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog awards, up to gold and beyond.

Leonie lives in East Dulwich with her partner and a fizzy terrier. Outside of work, she has a bit of a thing for mid-century ceramics; she loves jazz, gospel and soul music, camping under canvas, and relaxing with some Iyengar yoga.
