Topaz

Topaz grew up in the local area but was drawn to Edinburgh to complete a Biological Science degree before attending vet school in London. She graduated in 2010, working initially in Kent, then moving to Bristol for 3 years before returning back to London.

Topaz joined us in 2016 just as the Penge practice opened and has been integral to its development. Topaz now shares her time between the Penge and East Dulwich branches and is part of our senior vet team. She is a passionate and caring vet with strong ethics and is the practice lead on sustainability. She is always keen to improve and keep up to date with the latest evidence-based medicine and plays an important role in supporting our junior vets. 

Topaz has an RCVS Certificate in both small animal medicine and cardiology and does many of the more complex medicine workups, as well as performing echocardiography. 

Topaz has a big feline passion and lives with her partner and two cats Bambam and Tiffin. Outside of work Topaz loves all things food related and enjoys the outdoors doing such things as wild swimming, kayaking and walking.
