Simon BVSc MRCVS ISFM Cat Advocate Veterinary Surgeon

Simon graduated from Bristol University in 2005 and has had a varied and busy 15 years of experience in small animal veterinary practice. His areas of interest include soft tissue surgery, pet behaviour and imaging, and he joins the team from a busy practice group in Rochester, Kent. During his career, he’s treated just about everything from poorly tigers to anorexic terrapins and travelled extensively, doing veterinary work in Romania, Asia and the Middle East. He decided to become a vet after binge-reading his grandma’s entire stack of James Herriot books aged 7 and still loves working in veterinary medicine as much as he thought he would then.

He’s recently moved to London with his partner Beth, their new baby and their lazy ginger cat Malcolm, and away from work, he enjoys renovating their home, photography, cooking and eating out (mainly by bravely surveying South London’s best pizza restaurants).
