Katy

Katy started working in her first veterinary practice straight from school 10 years ago. She began her veterinary nursing diploma training in 2015 and became a registered veterinary nurse in 2017. She became a clinical coach shortly after qualifying and helps in the training of student veterinary nurses.

Katy has grown up with animals, including 4 large breed dogs, hamsters and a tortoise. She rescued her first cat called Timmy in 2013 and he has ruled her life ever since!

Katy enjoys travelling with her husband, spending time with her family and spending days at home with her cat. She has had the opportunity to do voluntary work abroad with animal charities and hopes to do more in the future. She also has a keen interest in surgery and would like to further her surgical nursing skills.
