Cristina wanted to be a vet ever since she could pronounce the word veterinarian. She grew up surrounded by animals and spent her summer holidays seeing practice at her local vet clinic. She graduated in 2012 from the University of Cluj Napoca in Romania and moved to the UK shortly after.
Cristina initially worked for a small animal hospital in the beautiful Cotswolds, before embarking on an emergency and critical care journey with Vets Now in 2016. She met her partner on the Eurostar one summer day in 2017 and in 2019 decided to leave night work for a more family friendly day role, in a busy practice in Surrey. Cristina moved to London and in March 2021 began her adventure at The Neighborhood Vet.
She is about to complete her BSAVA PG Cert in small animal emergency and critical care, has an interest in feline medicine, but enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice.
Cristina shares a home with her partner and their naughty cat, Martin. In her spare time, she plays with Martin, likes to read and paint. She loves a good hike and a catch up with friends and family.
