HR Coordinator

The Neighbourhood Vet is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team

Are you looking for a position where you can be your absolute best and have a good day every day. Do you like people both people and animals?  The Neighbourhood Vet is looking for an HR coordinator to fit in with our crazy bunch.  We started as a single vet practice in East Dulwich 10 years ago and have now grown to have 3 practices with 60 staff.  We are a close team who work to a high standard, and we are welcoming but not intimidating.  We know that our most important asset is our team and we have grown our practice by focussing on looking after each other, then pets, then clients.

So what can you expect from us?

You can expect a friendly, welcoming and open culture from top to bottom. We want humble, kind teammates, who enjoy their work, and can have a laugh!  We are not perfect and we want to continue to all learn, grow and be better.  And be supportive and compassionate at all times.

You can also expect support and continued education and on-the-job training, mentoring and added perks like your birthday off.  We give 5 weeks holiday per year and all bank holidays and are offering a salary up to £30k depending on experience.

What we want from you

We are looking first and foremost for someone who “gets” what we are trying to achieve and can fit into our team culture and values. We would like someone with confidence in their own abilities, who can work in a busy, sometimes high-pressure environment, can manage time and priorities and who gets the work done each day. And we want someone who can have a laugh (and sometimes a cry!) with the team.
