Babis Koffas

European Specialist in Small Animal Cardiology

Babis graduated from the Aristotle University Veterinary School in Thessaloniki in Greece in 1988. After spending time as an intern and working in small animal practice, he then completed a PhD in feline cardiomyopathies at The Royal School of Veterinary Studies at The University of Edinburgh in 2003.

Next, Babis did a residency in small animal cardiology at The Royal Veterinary College in London. He then became a Diplomat of the European College of International Medicine (Cardiology) in 2007.

Babis has been offering referral services for small animals with cardiorespiratory disease in the South East of England (including London) since 2007. He has had work published widely and has presented and lectured both nationally and internationally.

Babis enjoys all aspects of small animal cardiorespiratory medicine and has a particular interest in interventional cardiology.
